The Japanese language employs three distinct scripts in its writing system and Kanji is one of them. Kanji consists of borrowed Chinese characters and according to a study; one in five searches on the internet about tattoos is concerning the ‘kanji tattoos’. It may sound strange that ‘kanji tattoos’ are umpteenth times more popular in the west than they are in the East. But be sure to go to a professional, else a bad Kanji tattoo can be a source of humiliation too.
